Terms and Conditions – Win an Experience Trip to Szczecin 2026
Rules of the competition “Win an Experience Trip to Szczecin 2026” organized on the websites www.polen.travel and puola.travel for the Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish markets.
§ 1. General Provisions
- The organizer of the competition under the name “Win an Experience Trip to Szczecin 2026” (hereinafter referred to as “the Competition”) is the Polish Tourism Organization, based in Warsaw, ul. Młynarska 42, 01-171 Warsaw, Poland, in conjunction with the Polish National Tourist Office in Stockholm, Karlavägen 47 b, 114 49 Stockholm, Sweden (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).
- The Competition is conducted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “the Regulations”) in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland via the Internet on the Organizer’s website: www.polen.travel (hereinafter “the Website”).
- The Competition runs from 28 January 2026 from the moment of publication on the Website until 21 February 2026 at 23:59 CET.
- The winner will be selected within 10 days after the competition closing date. The winner will be contacted no later than 5 days after the selection has been made.
- Participation in the Competition is voluntary and free of charge.
- By entering the Competition, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Regulations.
§ 2. Rules for Participation
- The Competition is open to natural persons aged 18 years or older residing in Sweden, Denmark, Norway or Finland.
- Employees and representatives of the Organizer and other entities directly involved in the preparation and implementation of the Competition, as well as their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings), may not participate.
- To participate, the Participant must complete the competition task on the competition landing page (e.g. answering questions or submitting a response as specified). Entries must be completed individually and may not be generated automatically.
- Each Participant may submit only one entry.
- Entries submitted after the deadline specified in § 1 section 3 will not be considered.
- The Organizer reserves the right to remove entries that:
- violate applicable laws,
- contain offensive, vulgar or discriminatory content,
- infringe third-party rights,
- are unrelated to the Competition.
- By participating, the Participant agrees that their first name may be published on the Organizer’s website and social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) in the event of winning.
§ 3. Selection of the Winner
- The winner will be selected by a jury appointed by the Organizer (hereinafter “the Competition Commission”), based on the quality, creativity and relevance of the submitted answer(s).
- A competition protocol will be prepared by the Competition Commission. This protocol will not be made public.
- The winner will be notified via email within the timeframe specified in § 1 section 4.
- The winner must provide the Organizer with the information necessary to issue the prize (full name and contact details) within 4 days of receiving the notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize.
§ 4. Prize
- The Competition prize consists of:
- Two (2) nights for two persons including breakfast at Ibis Styles Hotel in Szczecin
- Full-day vouchers for two persons to Fabryka Wody (spa, aquapark and science center)
- A 2-hour guided city walk in English in Szczecin
- The prize does not include transport to or from Szczecin, personal expenses, travel insurance, or other costs not explicitly stated.
- The stay and activities must be arranged in advance with the service providers and are subject to availability.
- The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods.
- The winner is responsible for any taxes or legal obligations related to the prize according to local laws.
§ 5. Personal Data Processing
- The controller of personal data collected for the purpose of the Competition is the Polish National Tourist Office in Stockholm, Karlavägen 47 b, 114 49 Stockholm, Sweden.
- Personal data provided by Participants (such as name, email address and contact details) are provided voluntarily but are necessary for participation.
- Personal data will be processed for the purposes of:
- administering the Competition,
- selecting and contacting the winner,
- delivering the prize,
- handling potential claims or disputes.
- By participating in the Competition, the Participant expressly agrees that their personal data may be shared with partners involved in this event and in organizing the Competition, solely for purposes directly related to the administration of the Competition and prize fulfillment.
- The legal basis for processing is the Participant’s consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the Organizer’s legitimate interest in conducting the Competition (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Participants have the right to:
- access their personal data,
- request correction or deletion,
- restrict processing,
- withdraw consent at any time,
- lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
- Personal data will be stored only as long as necessary to conduct the Competition and for the limitation period of potential claims.
§ 6. Final Provisions
- These Regulations are available on the Website.
- The Organizer is not responsible for incorrect data provided by Participants that may prevent prize delivery.
- The Competition is not a game of chance within the meaning of applicable law.
- The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
- These Regulations enter into force on the date of publication on the Website.
