One of the few museums in Poland commemorating the tradition and history of firefighting.
The Museum has existed since 1978. Initially it was operating in the buildings owned by the fire brigade in Kazimierz Dolny, and in 1992, the collections were transferred to Kraśnik, to the new facilities of the Regional Command of Fire brigades. Currently the Lublin Chamber of Fire Tradition has over 720 exhibits e.g.: horse carts equipped with fire-fighting equipment and auxiliary (pre-World War I), the manual fire engines, helmets, badges, medals, uniforms and belts firefighters, emergency equipment, and standards bodies fire Brigades (the oldest of which dates back to 1904 – Fire Brigades in Puławy).
