OBLĘGOREK Spa Hospital


General


Oblęgorek Spa Hospital has 45 beds for patients with skin diseases, and has treatment facilities with the most modern equipment and apparatus for phototherapy.

The hotel was built in 1903. The name comes from the village of Oblęgorek near Kielce and is related to the gift from Polish people to Henryk Sienkiewicz, which was the palace and land estate in this town. "Oblęgorek" is a large two-story building. Loggias are divided with Tuscan column and pillars from the front, projections on sides. The turrets and balconies have cast-iron railings with art nouveau features. In 1945-1966, the building was the head office of the Bureau of the National Spa and Services. Since 1966, after the transfer of the management to Rzewuskiego Street, it houses Spa Hospital with dermatology ward. Currently, following renovation, Oblęgorek Spa Hospital has 45 beds for patients with skin diseases, and has treatment facilities with the most modern equipment and apparatus for phototherapy.
