The battlements - although fractured and mutilated by cruel blows of fate did not lose their majesty, and the suffering gave them a strange charm, like an old man's face, wrinkled with worries and pain.
There were four gates leading from most important highways: Torunska, Brodnicka, Dobrzynska and Na Blonia gates. They are filled with stones and ruins together with mortar. The battlements are located in the vicinity of the Old Town of Golub.
