Collegiate Church of St. Martin is one of the most precious relics of Roman architecture in the country. Oriented basilica with late Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque transformation and details, was built of sandstone blocks on the Latin cross plan.

The Collegiate of St. Martin is a Romanesque Church built about 1150, certified as a collegiate in 1212. In 1471, a parish of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary was transferred here.

Distinguishing features of the temple include a transept and closed chancel and two semi-circular apses.
