Getting around the town

A bus, tram, the underground or a taxi are not the only ways of moving around the town. In big cities, most often in the close proximity of their Old Town centers as in Warsaw, you can move around in a different - quite unconventional way.

Sightseeing ... sitting down

In some Polish cities there is the possibility of appreciating the most interesting places from a small golf-cart type vehicle which can carry a few people. It’s the perfect option both for ‘tired of walking’ tourists and for those who would like to see more within a shorter period of time. Many of these golf-cart vehicles are also equipped with audio-guides. You can, therefore, do your sightseeing sitting down with headphones, listening to the guided tour presented to you during the trip. The possibility of choosing your language makes these vehicles very popular with guests from abroad.

Hackney carriage and rickshaw

Enthusiasts of relaxing afternoons, especially moments in the older parts of towns, will be tempted by a ride in a traditional hackney carriage drawn by one or two horses. Some cities even offer trips around their Old Town or along popular streets in rickshaws.
