The Zoological Garden in Wroclaw was founded in 1865, but it didn’t exist until the end of the 19th century when appropriate areas were built to meet the requirements of exotic animals.

The Czarna Hańcza is the longest river of the Suwałki Land (142 km). It flows through the Hańcza and Wigry Lakes and, in its lower reaches, joins the Augustów Canal system. The section beyond Lake Wigry makes an attractive kayaking route.
Narew River Valley is undoubtedly one of the most attractive tourist and recreational areas located in the northern part of the commune. At the same time, it is one of the most beautiful corners of the north-east of Podlasie.
The route begins by St Florian's Church in Matejki Square, leads by the Krakow Barbican, through the main entrance to the city, St Florian's Gate, along Floriańska, across the Main Square, and then along Grodzka to the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill.
Krakow is most probably the only historic city of great renown, where even a short visit may become the
source of many pleasant memories and unadulterated satisfaction.
