Information

The Podlasie region is a place where you will find an extraordinary combination of tradition and religion such as extremely interesting marks of Polish Tatars' culture. Bohoniki and Kruszyniany Tatar villages are the home to the only two wooden mosques in Poland. The temples and the cemeteries of the two villages are the religious and cultural centers of the recently reviving Tatar culture in Poland. Trip program: -Supraśl: the Uniate Basilian Complex, the Bucholtz graveyard chapel at the evangelical cemetery, the Bucholtz Palace Bohoniki, Kruszyniany: the mosque and the Muslim cemetery -Krynki: a market square, a synagogue, and a Jewish cemetery
