A forest reserve with the area of 216.54 hectares situated in Ustrzyki Dolne commune. It encompasses the Carpathian beechwood. The nature reserve was established to protect the Carpathian beechwood . Historic stand of trees like sycamore maple, beech and fir has more than 100 years . Numerous trees are 300-450 centimetres in circumference. In the reserve there are found various species of mountain plants. The most interesting are:
Heart-leaved Twayblade,
Perennial Honesty,
Whorled Solomon's Seal,
Orpine, Heart leaf Comfrey,
Wild ginger and True oxlip.
There are also found here salt-springs , which chemistry is similar to the mineral springs in Iwonicz and Rymanów health resorts.
