The Centre of the Environmental Education ‘Gate to Swamps’ invites pupils from the primary, grammar and high school with their teachers on one-day outside workshops and green schools. The Centre of the Environmental Education ‘Gate to Swamps’ invites pupils from the primary, grammar and high school with their teachers on one-day outside workshops and green schools. In ‘the Gate to Swamps’ children can learn about flora and fauna, and study Geography, Biology not only from textbooks but also through observations and experience. Educational classes are carried out in centre classrooms and outside- on educational paths. Themes of trainings in the Centre ‘the Gate to Swamps’: Along the Biebrza and Narew River– history and culture. Ecological agriculture – What products should we eat to be healthy? Renewable energy sources– how do generators and solar cells work? Living river – nature of the Narew valley How is paper created?– protect forests. An effective communication art with people.
