"Pychówka" is a Polish name for a traditional flat - bottomed river boat, about 4 m long. Punts were once used in farming, especially for transporting hay from the meadows, and for fishing. "Pychówka" is a Polish name for a traditional flat - bottomed river boat, about 4 m long. Punts were once used in farming, especially for transporting hay from the meadows, and for fishing. The name is associated with the technique of pushing the boat off from the river bottom with a long oar or a pole. Rides in “pychówka” are one of the biggest attractions of the Narew National Park.
