At the beginning of the 1990s the Forest Administrative Unit opened the historic narrow-gauge railway for tourist and educational trips. It offers rides to Postolovo and Topilo. At the beginning of the 1990s the Forest Administrative Unit opened the historic narrow-gauge railway for tourist and educational trips. It offers rides to Postolovo and Topilo. Especially attractive is the ride to the in-forest settlement Topilo, where there is an artificial basin. The artificial lake which is situated here once used to be a timber yard. The lake is divided by weir, on which there is a narrow-gauge railway. Nowadays around it was marked an educational path „Trees of the Forest”. Nearby there is a mini open-air museum of a forest railway, and at the lake there are sheds and bonfire places. Nearby there is also the beautiful ecumenical chapel and the obelisk dedicated to foresters and their families murdered by Soviet and Nazi occupants in forced-labour camps and concentration camps in the years 1939–1945. A trip by a narrow-gauge railway on the route Hajnouvka – Topilo lasts about an hour (11 km). The office of the railway, administrated by Hajnouvka Forest Administrative Unit during the whole year organizes trips for organized groups but in summer season there are trips for individual tourists.
