Information

Palaeotologic Pavilion in Krasiejów is a scientific and for display purposes place. The aim of this place is to create the largest tourist attraction in Opole Region - "the Dinopark". Deposit of dinosaurs is in the original location in which it solidified 220 mln years ago. There are: Metoposaurus diagnosticus krasiejowensis - water amphibian, 2 meter long; Paleorhinus arenaceus - similar to present Indian crocodiles, 3,5 meter long, water reptile; Cyclotosaurus - water amphibian 3 meter long; Stagonolepis - 3,5 meter land reptile; Silesaurus opolensis - species discovered in Krasiejów, not big dinosaur, 1,5 meter long and Teratosaurus - the most impressive, it was a land predator about 4 meter long.
