The Biebrza Haymaking hosts competitors from all over Poland. The goal of the competition is to scythe 100 meters of a meadow as quickly and thoroughly as possible. The Biebrza area is also interesing for its history and coulture which is reflected by numerous folk-craft and ecology events. The Biebrza Haymaking hosts competitors from all over Poland. If the grass was not cut and overgrew, it would put bird's nesting areas in danger.
