The Piastowski Route is one of the most important routs in Poland. It starts in Poznań and it goes through Ostrów Lednicki, Gniezno, Trzemeszno, Strzelno, Kruszwica, Inowrocław, Biskupin, Gąsawa, Marcinkowo Górne to Gniezno again. The Piastowski Route is one of the most important routs in Poland. The route is so important because it shows places, which are directly connected with the beginning of Polish State. The area, where the route is situated, is the cradle of Polish culture and state. There are 3 monuments on the Piastowski Route, which are on the list of World Culture Heritage UNESCO: palatium in Ostrów Lednicki , Cathedral in Gniezno, settlement in Biskupin.
